These are from local estate sale in Oshkosh WI! Check out my quilt tops listed in other auctions, to more about the wonderful woman who stitched these. Emma had these in her cedar chest, so they were well protected. She spent over thirty years making these, with the hope of one day making them into a wedding quilt for her Great Grand daughter. I am amazed that they did not want to do this for her. But... they are. I watched her make the final one some 18 odd years ago, stitching each one by hand. I even have the bags of scraps with the left over pieces that I will use in my won crafts. She kept every dress she ever owned and those that were passed on to her. She was a housekeeper in some of the finer homes in Oshkosh, and they would allow her to have these from their own families on occasion. She say them all as treasures that needed to be "reborn".
