This auction is for a hand carved and painted wood Tanager bird pin. I purchased this pin with a collection of Takahashi Bird Pins, but I think this pin is a reproduction âe" it has screws on the back instead of the brass push pins that Takahashi uses . It measures approx. 1-15/16 inches across from the tip of the beak to the end of the tail, and approx. 13/16 inch tall. It is definitely a high quality pin, and I really could not tell the difference from the front. It is in fabulous condition and looks like it has never been worn!!!
