I've had this 16" x 11" Kawase Hasui woodblock print "Spring Rain at Arakawa River" a long time but never had a chance to look up the seals or signature to confirm the age of production. I think it might be from 1932 but I'm not certain; so I've included a lot of photos to allow you to make that determination. Also my photos are quite washed out because of the time of day when they were taken. I assure you the colors are deep and rich in the actual print. The print is affixed at the two left hand corners to a matte style paper "sleeve". I would remove it from this because the outside surface of this overleaf is toned and I assume not the best setting for this woodblock. The actual print seems to be in over all great condition with normal bleed through of color to the back side. I am truly not an expert in Japanese art so please ask questions before bidding. Postage is to lower 48 with tracking.
