VTG Hobe Blue/Clear Faceted Rhinestones Necklace w/Rhinestone Heart Drop Description ______________________________________________________________________________________ Vintage Hobe Necklace with a large gorgeous blue multi-faceted, bezel set, open back mount rhinestone surrounded by clear faceted open back mount rhinestones and Hobe's classic fancy wirework. Plus the pendant has a tear drop faceted blue rhinestone mounted on a hook on the back of the main pendant (see photo) (so you can wear the necklace without a drop or the drop of your choice). Really a beautiful unique necklace! This was purchased from the closing Hobe factory inventory and measures about 9" long including the pendant and drop which measure 1 3/4" long x 1" wide at the widest point. In very good vintage condition - only a few very slight nicks and scratches - with natural patina - has not been cleaned. ____________________________________________________________________________________ About 10 years ago, my client, always interested in beautiful costume jewelry and Hobe, in particular, decided to write a book on the history of Hobe because there really wasn't too much information out there.
