I no longer ship to ITALY due to the thefts in that country - Sorry!!!!!!!! Description: I am proud to offer one of the very early Hobe Pieces - Known as the Chessman or Bandora. These are the rarest of all the Hobe pieces. Some were made in the late 1930's through to the 1940's... The later ones had a synthetic carved figure in the center. This piece the center part is Natural - what substance I do not know! It is a very large piece, approx 4.2 inches long by 2.9 inches wide. All the rhinestones are original and present and correct! There are no chips or bits missing from the center carved figure. However I would like to point out that by the feet there are 2 holes, factory of course, that do not go through the piece, at first I thought "maybe" there as something missing, but the holes are decorated so.... There purpose is anyones guess! The frame is sturdy, the pin back is fully operational and original too! it is also fully signed with the Hobe name. Flaws: I dont know if this is a flaw or not but I would like to point this out for accuracy... I dont know if the feet were made as a seperate piece or it has a repair, but there is a line inbetween the two pieces, not noticeable unless you look for it, but it is there!
