*Please read 'Condition' at the bottom of this listing before bidding. Hand carved by Guy Maclure in 1975, this Inuit carving features a soapstone fisherman mounted on a stone base with etched ice hole; signed "Guy Maclure 75" on base, the letters "BK" are on back of figure. Overall measurements: 8" X 5" X 5-1/2" high CONDITION: previously owned, purchased in Alaska in 1976. Some scuffs here/there on base, nothing major. *There is a chip on the trim of the fisherman's head covering near top (see photo). One hand is holding the original string which is intact in the ice hole. The little stick pole that was in the other hand (also once attached to the string) is missing which exposed a cut in the hand which looks like a chip but is original, carved to hole the pole.
