Vtg Johnson Brothers Set of 2 Mugs Cups "Merry Christmas" Pattern 8 oz. rounded bottom Johnson Brothers England Set of 2 ~ 8 oz. Mugs (rounded bottom) "Merry Christmas" Pattern "Genuine Hand Engraving" on the bottom each mug. Like all hand engraved dinnerware from Johnson Brothers, each is one of a kind. There are very slight deviations in shading, placement of pattern, and pattern, indicating each is hand engraved. Approximately 3 1/4" tall with 8 ounce capacity; holly pattern on handle. Heavy crazing on one cup; light to no crazing on second cup, but a small flake of glaze off on rim, creating roughness. (See Picture) When I asked if they had been used, I was told only on Christmas day, no other time. I do combine shipping so that I may save you money. I also have many more pieces of this pattern available that I will be listing. This item comes from a Non Smoking House Because my husband and I help to liquidate local estates and prepare for renovations of very old homes, all items are sold as is. Most of my items are vintage and will naturally show wear from age and use. I make every attempt to take many pictures, and to be as descriptive as possible. We do not clean many of the older items, including cookie jars. Some will be pristine, some not. We are afraid of damaging finishes especially those with cold paint.
