Item Photos - free eBay photo hosting Item Photos - free eBay photo hosting DETAILS VINTAGE LARGE BUDDY L GREYHOUND LINES BUS BATTERY OPERATED WIND UP BUS ***NICE*** This listing is for a vintage, circa 1940's or early 50's, Buddy L brand Greyhound Bus toy. This is a pressed steel toy with a cool vintage blue and white paint job. The toy has a wind up mechanism which winds up the rear wheels and moves the bus forward. There is also a battery compartment to power the rear tail light. The front of the bus has a Buddy L sticker and two headlights. The rear of the truck has a sticker/decal that says Greyhound Lines with the number X-4071. Both sides also have the Greyhound Lines decals with the Greyhound dog logos. This is a great toy for vintage pressed steel, wind-up or Buddy L collectors! Condition: This bus is vintage and used. The wind up mechanism works and the toy moves as intended. The tail light did not work when we installed a battery. The passenger door is taped up and may have been stuck open before taping, but we'll let the new owner figure that out. There is some wear to the paint and some pitting on the exposed steel pieces. Overall this is in good condition for its age.
