Once you have owned a NETTLE CREEK BEDSPEAD, you will never settle for any other. Nettle Creek simply makes the most luxurious, high-quality bedspread one can find. This overscaled Flora Bedspread was custom made for a Double Bed. The pattern is BORGHESE......elegantly French.... The main colors are aqua, blue, lilac, and pumpkin ~ which compliment each other beautifully. Measures 100" wide x 114" Long. In photos, spread is on a Queen-size bed ~ will fit a Double, Queen (with bedskirt). Nettle Creek is renowned for their "puffed" handsewn work which gives the spread textural dimension. I love the draped "rounded" corners (see Photo #4). I found that those extra-large wash cycles at do it yourself laudermats work out great for Nettle Creek bedspread. This spread is in such great condition that I do not think that it needs anything but maybe a little airing as has been stored for many years. With the proper care, Nettle Creek Bedspreads last for decades, and most people who own one, will not part with it. My friend has one in her guest room, w i often stay, and the spread looks as lovely today as it did thirty years ago. These vintage spreads are not easy to find.
