This bright, colorful four corner pitcher is about as pretty as majolica can get. It features fans with dragonflies and water lilies along the bottom. It has has a nice crisp mold, lovely vibrant paint in blues, pinks, golds, yellows, browns, reds and greens on a whiter than white background, truly a WOW!! The pitcher has a very nicy glaze, a deep pink interior and has no cracks or hairlines. It does have glaze/paint loss on the one side of the handle and a 1/4" chip along the top edge on the "good" side. T is the usual crazing, but virtually no staining...a nice bright pitcher that's been a favorite of mine for years and years. It's about 6 1/2" tall and 5" wide.
