ArtJunquie Three (3) vintage Mason's Strathmore patent ironstone china plates in this auction lot. All three (3) plates are of the same hand painted English Red transferware pattern. A Cream (Off White) colored background is the setting for this Red floral transferware pattern, consisting of Yellow, Blue, Red and Green hand painted accents. Each plate is heavy English patent ironstone with a delicately scalloped and fluted edge. *Each plate has a tiny fleabite chip on it's very edge (not noticeable to the naked eye), and t is natural crazing in all three (3) plates due to age. All three (3) plates have the same Red transfer printed backstamp. One reads: MASON'S (over an angular crown) PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA Strathmore England C4792 (as seen in PIC). T also appears to be a number handpainted in Black: C 4811D. T is also the impressed number 949 on the back of another plate. Each plate's back also has a handpainted capital letter; "M" on this one, "T"? on another, "F"? on another. Measures 10 and 1/4" in diameter, 3/4" in height. "My home is PET and SMOKE FREE!!!"
