Increase traffic to your listing with Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery.we got this years ago out of the estate of master potter / ceramics professorLouis Benjamin Raynor(MFA Alfred University 1946)taught at Michigan State University from 1946 to 1981it is wonderful & heavy & unique .... but we have no idea who created itit may have markings (shown) that have thinnedit could be Raynors work ....it was still in his home long after he passed(sale was conducted when his wife passed )it is entirely closed except for that 1 tiny airhole as shown(not an easy feat)part of design reminds us of the Robert Maxwell David Cressey workbut this is a one offyou won't be disappointed ...6 1/2 by 6 1/2 by 3 5/8other things to mention :buyer pays insured USPS Parcel Select postageYES we are happy to combine items to save you cash..but please... if you win more than 1 itemdo not pay the ebay automatedcombined invoice because you will not receive the proper discount from them(& we will not be able to re-imburse you the difference as they charge the seller a percentage)you hit the pay button without heeding this helpful hint... your lossso...please just be patient... wait for us to redo the invoice & send it to you ........................now that ebay has unfairly changed its feedback policy, sorry but our only recourse is to report non paying bidders on day 4 .... we expect personal contact via the buyer within ebays policy of 2 days or less folks we are not robots over here, communication means a lot to us ...and is important in all forms of relationships !THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO ACTUALLY READ THIS ..& READ OUR FEEDBACK as well ...we are 1 of the GOOD GUYS ....At this time WE SHIP TO THE U.S.A ONLY , however on small items ..we do "bend the rules" sometimes, if you email and ask us to !The LONG and WINDING ROAD of SMALL PRINTso sorry to have to go on & on about this folks ....... its not whining...its fact ....and placed here in defense off all Ebay sellers, not just usthose little stars they ask you ..well those are important to the sellers ratings .. if they are judged unfairly by the buyer ... they can do harm ....& a couple of those categories ... the seller has no power to change (like shipping costs)in THIS country Ebay now charges the SELLER 9 percent of shipping charges .... so factor in that 9% of postal fees, ....then packaging supplies & cost of gas to drop off packages , the many hours of labor ; etc, etc .... & you will better understand that most sellers actually LOSE a good amount of funds where shipping is concerned ..... ...............especially sellers like us .... who offer larger items such as furniture / large art / lighting / etcwe don't "create" postal costs ..that is done by UPS & USPShey ..... if we could afford to offer free shipping we would ....but we already spend between 4 & 5 grand a year just on packing supplies so that your items arrive safely!another factor a lot of buyers may not realize... Ebay final fee costs have about DOUBLED in the past couple years.... ..... (they make it look like they are doing the seller a favor by not charging the 25 cent to a dollar listing fees up to 50 items .... but instead ... they greatly increased the Final Fee Charge ..... when we started over 16 years ago ... I believe the FF was 2.8 % ? ....now its nearly 10 % .......PLUS the 9 % of shipping ...PLUS the PAYPAL fees (which Ebay no longer owns )won't you please take into consideration this near 30 percent commission each seller pays for every single item they sell ...before you push that less than 5 score at the shipping cost slot ??the other stars..... item not as described??? ...well ....we supply several images in ALL of our listings ..... & at times we show images with giant arrows pointing at any flaws we feel not only need to be mentioned...but also pointed out visually .. ....lack of communication??...won't be from our end ... at some point we c... read more
