VTG MEXICAN OLD STYLE DECO STERLING TURQUOISE HINGED LINK FLOWER BRACELET This auction is for an Early Vintage Mexican Old Style Deco Sterling and Green Turquoise Hinged Link Flower Bracelet. These Early Deco Style Mexican Bracelets are getting harder and harder to find especially in good condition. This bracelet is in excellent condition for it's age and usage. T are a few superficial scratches on the reverse but this is normal for a piece that has been worn and loved. It is designed with 7 sterling hinged links with the links being connected (hinged) with sterling pins. Two of these sterling pins have small sterling straight pin type heads on them for easy removal of the link in case the bracelet needed to be shorten for a smaller wrist. I have found many Antique and Older Vintage Mexican necklaces and bracelets designed in this fashion. Each of the 7 sterling links has a Art Deco Style sterling 4 petal flower covering almost the entire link with the flower having a sterling bezel set green turquoise cabochon as it's center. The sterling bezel has a rope trim surrounding it as it sits a top the sterling petals. The turquoise cabochon's green color varies a little on each link. I have showed every green turquoise cabochon in my photos. Each of the 4 petals on each flower is designed with a crease dimple down the middle which adds so much beauty to the detail of the sterling flower. The clasp is a tongue and box design with the box being hidden on the reverse underneath the end link. This bracelet is 7 1/2" end to end not including the tongue in the measurement as it does not show or make a difference in the size wrist this bracelet will fit. This bracelet weighs 28 grams or 1 oz. This fabulous bracelet has flexibility in it's design and is articulated so it moves well on the wrist. The reverse has no detail with it being just beautiful sterling links. This bracelet is marked STERLING on the tongue part of the clasp which is unusual for Early Mexican Sterling pieces to be marked as such.
