Vintage Navajo Yei Rug * Talking God by Mary Bia Ribbon Winner RARE!
I am pleased to Offer this Wonderful Find Vintage Navajo Yei Rug Yei Bi Chai This Rare Navajo Yei Rug was a White Ribbon Winner * Original tags still attached * Honorable Mention Mary Bia Yei - Bi Chai This piece was recently acquired from a prviate collector ... age is unknown .... Old Rug since this has Honorable Mention It is also featured in Arizona's Arizona Highways July 1974 Magazine on page 26 Yei Bichai reads " WE-50 Talking God by Mary Bia from the Don and Nita Hoel Collection" This piece still has it's Original tags attached White Ribbon Winner reads Honorable Mention Tanner's 10th Annual All Indian Invitation Show Scottsdale Arizona 1981 Yei - Bi Chai Mary Bia also signed by Judges price tag attached with name of weaver Measurements are: 37 x 19 inches This is a very fine rug in very good to Excellent condition / Tight Weave / corner tassels perfect I am not exactly sure of it's age ... any information would be helpful ... not an expert on Native American objects listed with information provided on the acutual rug tags and info from Magazine This is a WONDERFUL FIND for the Collector *
