For your consideration is this Vintage North Electric Galion Oh Black Bakelite Telephone. No cracks or chips on the shell. It does have some light scratches. The shell has a nice shine but could use a buffing. No cracks on the handset. It does have a mare on the receiver end of it (see photo). and the coil cord end has a split in the coil wire coating (see photo). The wires themselves are fine. The finger wheel turns smooth. The numbers and letters on it look nice as does the card. The back of the shell at the bottom edge is marked: North Electric Patented U.S.A. The bottom plate is marked: Made By The North Electric MFG Co. Galion Ohio. ST. Line. The padded feet look nice. I did test this phone and it passed the loop test, dial test, transmit test and receive test. It did not ring. Selling as-is for parts or repair. Base measures: 7 5/8" wide by 5 1/2" deep.
