Please take the time to look at our other auctions!! Offered in this auction is a BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE CLOTH PATCH 221st HELICOPTER RECON SHOTGUNS VIETNAM WAR. In FINE to EXCELLENT collectible condition. 221st Helicopter Company Vietnam Out of Fort Bragg - the 221st arrived in Vietnam in early July 1965. Based at Soc Trang their primary role of Forward Air Reconnaissance for advancing Ground elements of the US Special Forces and USARV. call sign, SHOTGUN. With a full complement of just over 150 operatives in 1968 - They left Vietnam, back to Fort Bragg in November of 1971. It measures about 4 1/4" long by 3".
