Wonderful Vintage Easter Basket Grass in Litho Decorated Box Wonderful Estate Find ~Antique Excelsior Color Easter Basket Grass~ Mid Century Reading PA Decorated Litho Chocolate Box At auction is the real deal---vintage Easter Basket grass or Excelsior as it is called- colored shredded paper thin in lovely Easter colors--2 shades of green, yellow and purple. The grass was stored for many years in this "BUTTONWOOD" Milk Chocolate Foiled Eggs Decorated Box. The Schoener Candies INC, READING, Pa manufactured these Easter Egg candy delicacies. Schoener was a popular candy company during the early 1900's in Reading, PA and was later sold to King Kup. The box is charming with Bunnies, chicks,lambs, little Children, decorated eggs, rabbits, birds, daffodils,lilies,rain, umbrellas, pussy willows and all the signs of Spring and Easter depicted in pastel shades of green , purple, yellow and cream lithos. Box & grass weighs about 9 ounces, both will be shipped securely as not to damage --please supersize these for a closer look.
