Here is an adorable original Roy Rogers clock. Please note that it does not run. It doesn't even wind. However, the alarm does work nicely and rings loudly when you lift the brass button on top after winding the alarm. I did not take this apart to see why it won't run because I do not know the first thing about clock repair. It measures approximately 4 1/2" high by 4" wide. The dial of the clock is adorned with a Western scene showing a canyon, mountains, and cactus. Roy Rogers is riding Trigger and is attached to the lower right section of the dial. At the very bottom of the dial it is signed, "The E Ingraham Co., Bristol, Conn., USA." A similar thing is also engraved on the back of the case. The case is in nice shape and has its original paint mostly intact with only some scattered spots of paint loss. The curved glass is in good condition. The gold tone frame which holds the glass in place has some spots of finish off it, mostly on the left side. The winder that sets the alarm does work, and the little alarm hand turns when you wind it in one direction. You can set the time, moving both hands, but you just can't wind the clock to get it running. The key turns in both directions, but nothing happens, so it will definitely need some fixing if you want to get it running again, or you could just enjoy it for the way it looks now.
