Please help me empty out Mom's house. I was new to selling when I started this eBay adventure in January '09, I can't believe it has been almost 3 years already, but I am still here out of necessity and will be for quite some time. Sadly, mom passed on in 2008. Mom had a serious OCD shopping problem. She bought everything from A to Z, and I do mean everything, but unfortunately she never used any of it or gave it away, she just wanted it, if only to say that she had one of those. Mom's apparently been shopping for many years; she could have opened a store with what she bought. It's taken a long time to figure out what we were dealing with and how to deal with it. Almost everything was still in the bags that she brought them home in so it is clean and mom didn't smoke and had no pets. We spent months opening up bags, boxes, containers and drawers and were amazed by what we found. She always thought we just wanted to throw her things out, she sure surprised us, instead we've learned a whole lot more about vintage odds & ends than ever imagined. She did buy a ton of nice stuff, just way to much of it, we have no use for it, and feel that somebody should be using it.
