One word to describe... SPECTACULAR! No imitations here, this is the real deal from the 50s/60s. Quality, integrity, staying power. Heirloom quality. Height with top branch in ...is about 6.5 feet tall. When placed in motorized base (which rotates this stunning piece of nostalgia) ...the tree is about 7 feet. Width of set up tree is approximately 3.5 feet. Just a fabulous piece to own. As pictures show it makes a remarkable presentation. When setting up the tree with individual branches you will find a couple of branches (not many) have loose aluminum. In the original box there are many unopened smaller branches. The tree trunk has a bend to one side but again when decorated, rotating and illuminated I do not think this condition issue detracts from it...and honestly it is a 50 year old piece of wood..if ambitious enough you could always construct a new one..after all it is the aluminum branches which make this item so brilliant, and then you could have an absolutely upright tree for the next 50 years. The stand rotates without an issue but the on/off switch does not work, you must connect or disconnect the plug to operate the rotational feature of the base. There is an auxillary electrical outlet built into the base which does work. Tree is very secure in both the motorized base and the traditional base which I will send
