The Mexican Silver Shop Specializing in Vintage Mexican, Peruvian, Native American Silver and Related Objects ...a flying bird.... I am not certain of the origin of this nice 950 silver flying bird. I had originally thought it might be from Mexico, but a nice Ebayer let me know that this is one of the bird symbols used by the Nazca culture of Peru. The piece is made of 950 silver which is higher content than sterling silver and the center of its body is inlaid with azure malachite stone. The pin has lots of motion with the bird's wings outstretched and its tail feathers fluttering in the breeze. T is a well working safety clasp on the back. I estimate the age of this to be circa 1960. All packages will have Delivery Confirmation which will provide you with some tracking of your package. If you are interested in receiving your package in the fastest manner possible, please do choose Priority Mail, which generally will arrive within 2 - 3 days of my sending. First Class usually takes a little bit longer, most often 3 - 7 days. I strive to send out packages within 24 - 48 hours of payment. I do try to honor special requests, just ask! If you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please do contact me first. For International Shipping: I usually send jewelry out First Class International unless requested otherwise. Be aware that delivery can take as little as a few days and at other times, can take as long as a few weeks. The length of delivery for First Class International will vary based upon your location and the amount of time your package might be handled in Customs. Please do understand that any customs duties/VAT taxes are your responsibility at your location. International insurance is included in the shipping cost and is purchased through DSI.
