South Bend Lathe Works 1934 Poster Technical Drawing No. 175 of the 13" x 6' Underdrive Lathe . This is a nice piece of Machinist history. Size, 22" x 17.5". Drawing No. 175 Date: 12-1-34 Good Condition. Lots of pics. There are some areas with damage. Lower right corner missing a piece. Upper left corner has some small rips/ bumping. Bottom left edge has some rips and small pieces missing. Paper is old and delicate. It was stored rolled up in tube. When unfurling it, it wants to wind back up. So, you will have to be careful with it. I hope who ever wins it, frames it. So, it will be protected. Found at an estate sale of a manufacturing plant manager, here in chicago. Stored in the rafters of the basement in shipping tube. I imagine most of these went to schools or machine shops and were put up on the walls and eventually, damaged and thrown away.
