This is a Stanley Bailey # 4 smoothing plane. It's total sole (bottom) length is 9 1/4" and 2 1/2" wide at the base. The blade is about 2" wide. The body and all cast parts are in great condition as you can see in the photos. This plane has the frog adjustment screw and all adjustments work and move properly. It has brass bolts in the knob and handle and a brass adjusting knob. The blade is sharp but could use a resharpening soon. The handles are hardwood and are fine as well, no breaks or cracks. Overall a very nice example of a Stanley # 4 planer. We are a PayPal “VERIFIED” Buyer/Seller ……….so . What is PayPal Verified?
