VINTAGE SUITCASE Up for auction is an amazing vintage suitcase. The construction of this case demonstrates quality craftmanship of another era.The bumpers around the suitcase are shaped wood attached to the suitcase with tacks. The edges are reinforced with leather and the corners are metal. It measures 30x19x10". T are wonderful decals on the suitcase.Two of them have an exquisite painting of the town of Berchtesgaden in Germany . The town became known for its role in WWII .It is in good vintage condition but does have a dent in one reinforced metal corner, some rusting on hardware,normal scuffs and some cracks in paper lining. The case has been in storage and would need to be freshened up.The fantastic lines, combination of textures, unique decals ,patina all add up to create a suitcase that would be a great home decor piece used as a table, storage or more .
