I PICKED THIS UP FROM A LOCAL SALE. I AM NOT SURE THE AGE. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.SOME MINOR SURFACE SCRATCHES AND SOME MINOR PAINT CHIPS AT THE ENDS.HERE IS SOME INFO I WAS ABLE TO GATHER ABOUT THE PROPELLER AND THE COMPANY.HUB THICKNESS APPROX. 1 1/2" DIAMETER 50-54 2003 PRICES $ 270.00.ALSO THIS: Tennessee Propellers, Inc. has been producing quality wooden ultralight aircraft propellers for microlights and powered parachutes since 1981. All T.P.I propellers are manufactured from multi-laminated hardcore maple veneer. Laminations are bonded with CLASS1 waterproof resin. Our blanks contain 24 to 48 plys depending on the thickness required. Carving to pitch, the most important step in propeller making is done on a machine to insure that both blades will have exactly the same shape and pitch. After carving, each prop is hand-sanded to remove any machine marks. At this stage, preliminary balancing is done. Wood sealers are next applied and again re-sanded. Each stage of production from the wood laminations to finished propeller is subject to a series of inspections. Final balancing is now performed. T.P.I. propellers are given their final finish in multiple coats of unique two component polyurethane coating containing aliphatic polyisocyanate.
