This auction is for the most amazing VINTAGE TRIFARI RHINESTONE MALTEST CROSS BROOCH. This is the most stunning Trifari brooch that I've ever held in my hands in a very long while. The quality & design are so overwhelming that I felt it surely had to be one of Alfred Philippe's last designs before he retired in 1965, and to that end I've looked all over the internet to find another one to confirm this, but have not been able to find this piece, I will leave it to more knowledgeble ebayers to decide - under any circumstances, it is fabulous. I don't generally use the word mint when describing vintage jewelry, but cannot find a single flaw to note. The goldtone finish is un-marred. Even the clear pave rhinestones are as bright & white as the day it was made. The ruby colored (deep red with a hint of rosy pink) are open-set with prongs. Marked TRIFARI with the crown over the T.
