I plugged it into my vehicle power supply and went out to the highway to test it and it works just fine. The patrol speed reading was exactly as my speedometer reading when in the moving mode. I then parked and waited for a vehicle to approach. It worked just fine in the stationary mode also. I was not able to test the automatic mode, I used the manual mode. It’s a digital unit and all functions including the digits worked as expected. Made by M.P. H. Industries; it has a serial number of 2663. It comes as shown with no mounting brackets or a tuning fork. I don’t think it needs a tuning fork b/c of advanced technology. It has a test mode that also works fine. It has quite a few scratches and scrapes from previous use along with some soil. I have personally used this model unit (not this specific one) in the past during my past career in law enforcement.
