* ** Vintage Harlequin Crystal ** * * Vogue Necklace & Earrings * This listing is for a gorgeous hand knotted crystal necklace, and earring set, by Vogue. The quality of these pieces is superb, with incredible faceted aurora borealis Austrian crystals, and brilliant three tiered rhinestone rondels. Photographs do not do justice to the intense saturated color, and fabulous sparkle of this set. The necklace is 23 3/4" (60.3 cm) long, with one 23" (58.4 cm) strand, and one 24" (61 cm) strand. The earrings measure about 1 1/8" (2.6 cm) in diameter. They are all in excellent condition. The Vogue trademark was first used by the Park Importing Company in 1915 on the firm's bead, and simulated pearl jewelry. It is the jewelry manufactured from the late 1930's to the early 1970's that is most collectible today. Relatively scarce, Vogue jewelry is known for its fine quality, and for its original and innovative designs. By its very nature, vintage jewelry may have some age related wear or imperfections.
