Up for Sale a Rare Vintage WEIL ZIBELINE Parfums Paris Sealed Unopened Bottle. This is a pre 1955 bottle created by Jacqueline Frysse and sold in a Baccarat fluted bottle evoking Greek columns. Perfume bottle comes without box. Guessing fits 1.7 or 2 fl oz which equals to 50 ml. Bottle is 3" tall x 3" wide. Beautiful scalloped stopper with WEIL engraved and fluted glass. Very small amount liquid evaporation, otherwise perfect excellent condition. Fraysse had trained at Firmenich; and was considered to be the very top nose at Yardley, which was one of the largest commercial perfume houses at the time. Parfums Weil was born. There were three original fragrances made, and their names...quite literal. ‘Zibeline’ belonged to the original fragrant trio line-up that launched the business of Perfumes Weil . Introduced in 1928, ‘Zibeline’ was commissioned by Marcel Weil and composed by Claude Fraysse, assisted by his perfumer daughter, Jacqueline.
