This is Christmas card from long ago. It is WWI vintage. It is an embroidered scene on silk of a little church with holly on it. The card is held together with ribbon. It does open to the greeting that is shown in the middle picture. The card is to Cousin Mary from Thomas. The front of the card is embossed, with what looks like hand colored small flowers and holly. There is some gold decoration on the bottom and in the center is the silk. The card does say P. R. Paris on the inside. The card is 4 inches x 6.25 inches. It is in fairly good condition for its age. There is some soiling to the from age. It can be partially cleaned up with an eraser. I tend to over state conditions. This is not a brand new card that has been hidden away. It was a much admired card when it arrived I am sure. If you have any questions or want more pictures please let me know. I love to combine shipping. Thanks so much for looking.
