This is an original 1930s to WWII era silver & cloisonne enameled Japanese 7th Class Order of the Rising Sun medal set. This cloisonne enamel is perfect on the front, and near perfect on the back. The silk ribbon is in good condition, just some soiling on it. The lapel rosette is in excellent condition and hallmarked on the bottom with the katakana "SU" character (impossible to photograph but it is there). The lacquered case is in great condition too, just a little wear here and there. Overall, an excellent set. The Order of the Rising Sun medal was established by Council of State Decree of April 10, 1875. Last two photos are just to show you how this medal was worn.
