VTG Zuni Indian Handmade Turquoise Sterling Earrings we have a vintage pair of handmade Zuni Indian earrings on their original card. According to the writing on the age worn card, these were purchased in August or September of 1987 (both months are indicated) in New Mexico from the Zuni Indians. These are sterling silver half hoop earrings with inlaid turquoise stones. The silver has quite a patina and needs cleaning, and it is obvious that these are handmade – so much more interesting than the factory made stuff that is mass produced now. These have clips on the back and are unmarked and unsigned. The turquoise stones are robin’s egg blue. Each earring measures just over ¾” long and 5/16” wide with a combined weight of 5.7 grams.
