After a recent health scare I have decided that the model railway I have always wanted will not happen now, so it's time for a clear out. Up for sale is a unmade Vulcan Model Engineering VLK 4 1 kit of a Drewry Class 04 0-6-0 diesel shunter in 4mm scale in cast white-metal with etched brass chassis.. The only part I can not see is a motor mount Included are :- a Sagami motor, handrail wire, handrail split-pins,screws, nuts, bushes, electrical wire, Romford wheels and axles, motor and axle gears, Anchoridge 5/8''Dia 2mm bore flywheel and Romford slotted crank-pins. The first four class 04 engines had different cab front and cab side windows from the main production run and as such can NOT be reproduced from this kit.....BUT............ The kit comes with alternative cab sides to allow the builder to build a loco from the D2204 - D2341 range, loco's from D2204 to D2214 had small cab-side windows and from D2215 onwards large windows were fitted.
