W.ADAMS FAIRY VILLAS FLOW BLUE SOUP TUREEN, WITH LADLE AND PLATTER Beautiful Flow Blue pattern. Very rare in this size. Platter measures 22 inches by 17 1/2 inches across; 3 1/4 inches tall. Tureen is 13 inches long; 8 1/2 inches wide; 11 inches tall. Ladle is 11 1/2 inches long. Entire set is in near excellent condition, with the following exceptions (which can be seen in the pictures): Handle at each end of tureen has some chipping. Very slight indentation in the platter that may be an annealing mark or mold line instead of an actual flaw. W. Adams Pottery produced this Fairy Villas pattern in the late 1890's.
Please note that most of the pictures were taken using my camera's flash, but some were not, i.e. taken in natural daylight indoors. This should explain any color brightness you may notice in the pictures. This set will make a grand addition to any antique flow blue collection! Due to size and weight of these items, they may be shipped in separate containers, but the winner bidder pays only one S/H charge. Insurance is required. This set is a pale, light blue color. Some of the pics appear dark because they were taken indoors with only natural light from the windows. I was trying to capture the patterns in the items, and I thought some of the natural-light pictures depicted the patterns better than those taken with with camera's flash. Hope this helps.
