Here we have a 1:48 O scale craftsman body kit of a Philadelphia & Western Brill "Bullet" car by Imperial Hobby Productions (IHP) of Wynnewood, Pa. This kit is out of production and is IHP item number 48029. The car body is a detailed resin casting in one piece including sides, ends and roof. There are resin and metal cast details to finish the kit, less power truck and trailer. I have a Q Car power/trail set Brill 89E1 listed separately on eBay that would be suitable for the Bullet. The IHP manufacturer's label reads, "Modeling Experience Required." If you have average experience in assembling O scale trolley kits, the Bullet will be a relatively straightforward project. The kit includes a set of printed instructions. My layout plans have changed so this kit is excess to my needs. Low starting bid and no reserve. The Brill Bullets were operated on the P&W 69th Street Terminal, Upper Darby, Pa., to Norristown third rail powered "light metro." Subsequent operators were Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Co. and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). Some have been saved by trolley museums. One is operational at Rockhill Trolley Museum in central Pennsylvania in SEPTA livery and has been equipped by the museum with trolley poles on both ends for overhead DC wire operation. The IHP model will be shipped to read more
