I do not know that this Cast Iron Stove Door was actually made by W.C. Willard. That is the name that appeared on a plate that was attached to another part of the stove. I have found no maker's marks or any other writing on any part of this Cast Iron Door. It measures approximately 12-3/4 by 17-1/2 inches. This door is made in the form of a sandwich. It consists of insulating material that is layered between an Ornamental Outer Cast Iron or Steel Shell and an inner sheet steel plate. I have found a few small holes in the inner sheet. The Hinges and the Latch Handle are in Good Condition. The Cast Outer Shell also has a few small holes. I have tried to show everything, including the issues, in my photos. I do my best to accurately describe the items I sell. However, I am not an expert and a problem that might be obvious to a serious collector might not be recognized by me as something that should have been mentioned. Many of the things I sell are old and used, so you should expect to find signs of use and wear. I will try to point out obvious issues, but like any other auction, once it's over, the item is yours, regardless of condition. I sell everything 'as is'.
