is a beautiful W. O. Larsen Straight Grain grade 8 in a freehand shape. Grade 8 is near the upper end of Larsen's grading, being 2 levels from the top of the line Pearl. This pipe is in like-new shape, I have owned it since I bought it new about 7 years ago, from Gus' Smoke Shop in Sherman Oaks, California. It smokes great; it just doesn't get into the rotation often, so I think some other smoker should have the chance to have this fine Larsen. You may know that since Ole Larsen passed away, the brand has changed to mostly standard production pipes, and the number of straight grain and high grade pipes has greatly decreased. The wood and stem are shiny-bright with no scratches, dings, chars, or toothmarks. Truly a nice example of a great brand, with excellent straight grain all the way around the bowl. The photo squares are 1", so you can see this is a good-sized pipe. The bowl is generously sized, and tapers to follow the profile of the exterior. The bowl is 1" diameter at the rim, and is 1 5/8" deep. Better fill this with a favorite blend, as you are going to be smoking it for a while! Any specks on the photos are dust, not scratches. I ship via USPS Priority Mail, with insurance and delivery confirmation within the US. Shipping to Canada will be slightly higher.
