Straight from the Show of Shows Military Show this past week end inLouisville, Ky. I think I bought just about every U.S. WW 1 VictoryMedal t A full size U. S. Army World War 1 Victory Medal with five bars. The planchet and the bars are toned with age, having a nice age & wear patina with about 50% or more of the original finish. The ribbon is excellent condition for it's age, with minor amount of the normal fraying around the brooch and fold at the bottom. The bars are Aisne, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne & Defensive Sector. The 2nd Infantry Division was the only Division to win this combination of bars. A hard to come by Army 5 bar Victory Medal in very good or better condition. A great addition to your Victory Medal or WW I medal collection. For reference see Strandberger & Bender's book The Call of Duty, page 19 and Planchet Press' W.W.
