wabash railroad step stool complete. this is a very nice , rare wabash stool painted the "BLUEBIRD" color , of course. this is a pre WW2 and as you can see is the "small" type steel box. It weighs about 18 pounds and the large one also weigh about 18 pounds !! The reason is that this small one is all steel construction and the larger ones had some aluminum on the risers. Please note that the feet have all been replace with new original rubber, not an aftermarket type. t is some small creases and dings around the legs and feet, but that is from the normal wear and tear of these type stools. I have sold many stools and all of them have a small amount of wear dings about them. These things as you know w thrown around the rail cars like boxes and it is a wonder any of them made it...let alone in this good of condition. this will be a welcome addition to anyones collection. And who knows, it may have been on the cannonball itself !!!! The shipping and insurance will be a flat rate of $40.00....if you have any problems or questions please ask them in advance of purchase because they are to large to be sending back and forth. thanks for looking....Dave MEASURMENTS ARE 15" WIDE, 14" LONG AND 11" HIGH.
