This is a Wade & Butcher straight razor that was made in Sheffield England. This razor is in immaculate, superb condition with an 11/16 wide mirror finish, spike point, blemish & defect free blade, and shows almost no prior use, if any. This style Wade & Butcher comes from the 1818 to the 1890 era. It opens and closes snug and smooth on the pivot pin and perfectly centered between the handles. The black celluloid handles are also in near new condition. I am including a generic no brand name box from the same era as the razor, that is in excellent solid and sound condition. A real nice shaver and it comes shave ready.
