For those of you that like Wade and Butcher "choppers", this one is special. I see a lot of 8/8 blades but not too many framebacks with a notch point. And this frameback is in great condition. Under close inspection, the scales are close to perfect. T are no scratches, bites, or blemishes of any kind. I see a little piece of rough edge which you would not see unless you are looking for it. The blade reads Kellogg Wells and Co on the tang with manufactured by Wade and Butcher on the other side. The blade is in pretty good condition. T is some light staining that may be buffed out. The scales have large brass bulls eye pins and are tight. The blade opens and closes smoothly and correctly. The spine is wide at 1/4 inch thick. T is no rust anyw on the blade. I hope I have covered everything.........
My favorite shaver is a WB 8/8 ... the weight on the blade allows it to just glide across your face. Ask anyone that has ever used one. They're amazing. You will just love this razor whether you use it as a shaver or just add it to your collection. You will not be disappointed!!
