Presented for auction is this superb rare Wade Happy Families 'Giraffe Family' with box. Produced by Wade between 1978 - 1987, this superb set is one from a series of 11 families which were created by wade between 1961 and 1987. Each piece is finished in beige with light blue eyelids and light grey horns , the backstamp is black transfer 'Wade Made In England'. This is part of my recently deceased brothers collection. Mother giraffe measures 60mm x 45mm, Baby awake 40mm x 28mm and baby asleep 15mm x 30mm approximately. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. A superb giraffe family in excellent condition and boxed, please see all my other auctions for more quality Wade items. Good luck and thank you for looking.
