Wahl Full-Sized "All-Metal" Pen A beautiful example of one of the all-time classic pen designs, this lever-filling Wahl dates to the early 1920s. It has the less common raised lever, and it carries a generously sized #4 nib. Overall length as shown is 11.8 cm (4 5/8"). The rose gold filled cap and barrel are very clean, with only the slightest signs of wear to the gold layer along the very edges of the most exposed surfaces. The overlay of the section has some light tool marks, and the front edge is slightly irregular (as seen below) thanks to the effects of corrosive ink in the past. T is one tiny bump to the top rim of the cap, and t is a name lightly chased on the pen's barrel. The teardrop-vent nib (unusual for Wahl) is outstanding for both smoothness and flexibility. My scribblings below give some small hint of what a real copperplate or Spencerian calligrapher should be able to get out of this pen. Standard terms and conditions below: Professionally reconditioned and fully guaranteed -- unless otherwise noted, pens have had fresh sacs and seals installed and their nibs have been tested for function and smoothness, while pencils have been tested for function but will not have had their old erasers replaced.Any cracks, dents, warpage, personalized inscriptions, or other defects will be prominently and explicitly described. read more
