Printed at the Merrymount Press Boston for the Limited Editions Club 1936. #824 of a limited edition of 1500. 290pp illustrated with 16 gravure plates from photos taken by Edward Steichen at Waldon Pond. SIGNED on the limitation page by Steichen. Half black cloth lettered in gilt on patterned boards. In original slipcase. Internally clean, bright, about fine, boards with minor scuffs at edges, corners, one corner slightly bumped, small light spot on spine, overall about near fine. Slipcase solid complete with darkening soiling, scuffs and handling wear/tape on inside join about VG. Handsome production by LEC. Lovely copy of this classic, about the nicest 'Walden' ever printed.
