I wanted to get a big knife on in time for Christmas ! And to wish each and every one a Blessed and Merry Christmas ,and to say thanks for all the customers and friends I have made though my Ebay sales ! and Hey Thanks again for stopping by and taking a look , please take a look at this Model 14 Attack , This one turned out very nice !If you are in the market for one of my model 14s this one will fill the bill , very, very nice ! I have not had a Model 14 on ebay in a few months . Lots of folks order the bigger blades of the 18's and 14's so my sheaths get used up before I can get one on .If you want to see more of my knives check out my new website , just do a search on the web for my knives.I have committed in 2012 ,and going into 2013 to make the best model 14s that I can , this is a knife I love to make . It's a knife I can sell many times over ,and is a time tested rugged design. So for the last months I have looked at a lot of 14's and made some changes to theway I make my 14. To start I have made the hilt to a closer look , also I have reworked the handle finger grips and made them more uniformed . I hope you enjoy the pictures and hey read my feed back on my knives . This is a Wall Hand Made knife!!! a model # 14 Attack/ Survival .That comes with a Sullivans sheath ! Sullivans makes the sheaths for Randall Knives !!! first class !!!! They come with the green OD para cord , and the orange pocket stone ! they are first class sheaths . I have added the copper and brass rivets to this one to give it that vintage look . This style model 14 is ser # 215 and it has has a 7-1/2" blade with a 3" false top edge , made from 1/4" 01 tool steel , and has the Green OD finger grip micarta handle. This knife is the classic survival knife. It was originally designed by Bo Randall way back in the 1960's for use in Vietnam. It will come with a correct type C sheath made by Sullivans sheaths and designed 25 or 30 years ago by Randall Made knives. This is beautiful blade,, very nice grind lines, Satin finish blade with false top edge ! This style knife was made in early 60's and 70's by a famed knife maker of Orlando FL. ,,,,The ones I make are based on his line or style of Survival knives . I wanted this knife back in the early 70's but as a kid could not come up with the money to order one . : ) I am getting a kick out of making them for people who just want a solid , strong survival knife . Please note this one is made from 1/4" 01 tool steel , like the ones made back in the 60's and early 70's !! Hope you enjoy my take on this knife. This blade is Flat grind to the edge and is RAZOR sharp (top edge is sharp at tip ) I try to heat treat this type knife with a little harder edge so it will hold up out to more camp chores longer without hitting it on a sharpener. The tang is 1/2" and goes all the way to the end of the handle, The handle has a brass lined thong hole also. 1/4" flared brass to accommodate wrist thongs or just to have a point you can tie off the knife. This blade has some nice grind lines, and will be a good design for camp use, or just in case on a day hike or a week long camping trip. I have a lot of faith in my blades and would pick it over any other knife out there if my neck was on the line !! and I do have people who carry my knives when they are in harms way. in very far away places now and know they will serve them well. My blades are in use all around the world. The knife has a great feel in the hand and will go anywhere. This type knife is just right for Service men and women ,,Hikers , Campers , Fisherman, Hunters , Trappers , well anyone who is out in the wilds for a day or weeks at a time,.
