It's a knife I can sell many times over ,and is a time tested rugged design. So check out my feed back on my knives .This is a Wall Hand Made knife!!! a model # 15 Airman That comes with a model C type sheath.They come with the green para cord , and the orange pocket stone ! they are first class sheaths . This style model 15 has has a 5-1/2" blade , made from 1/4" 01 tool steel , Green finger grip micarta handles.It was originally designed way back in the 1960's for use in Vietnam by aircrews.It will come with a correct type C sheath made by Wall sheaths and remember your wall sheaths are also made to fit your Randall knives !!!the sheaths were designed 25 or 30 years ago by Randall Made knives.This is beautiful blade,, very nice grind lines, Satin finish blade with 3 "bowie clip point . Oval brass hilt .This style knife was made in early 60's and 70's by a famed knife maker of Orlando FL. ,,,,The ones I make are based on his design of Survival knives . I wanted this knife back in the early 70's but as a kid could notcome up with the money to order one . : ) I am getting a kick out of making them for people who just want a solid , strong survival knife . Please note this one is made from 1/4" 01 tool steel , like the ones made back in the 60's and early 70's !! Hope you enjoy my take on this knife.This blade is Flat grind to the edge and is RAZOR sharp (top edge is sharp at tip )This blade has some nice grind lines, and will be a good design for camp use, or just in case on a day hike or a week long camping trip.I have a lot of faith in my blades and would pick it over any other knife out there if my neck was on the line !! and I do have people who carry my knives when they are in harms way.in very far away places now and know they will serve them well. My blades are in use all around the world.The knife has a great feel in the hand and will go anywhere.This type knife is just right for Service men and women ,,Hikers , Campers , Fisherman, Hunters , Trappers , well anyone who is out inthe wilds for a day or weeks at a time,. Over all a beautiful knife that will sure to get attention any time itsin use.The heat treating is to a Rockwell hardness of 60 - 62 and is wickedly sharp .I free grind my blades.My knives are strong , sharp, and dependable and will last a life time to be handed downwith just a little care. As with all knives , I would not store the blade in the sheath for long periods.01 Tool steel is a high carbon steel and will rust if not oiled ,, just a thin coat after use . I use thesame oil as I do on my guns .Just a little about me , I made and sold my first knives in about 1984 and like many other knife makerI sold to mostly family, friends , and co workers. At that time I did not have a shop and good toolsand grinders to work with , that all changed 4 summers ago when I acquired thetools and set up my shop to make knives. I plan to be making knives for many years to come.Please note that I make all my knives , by my hands , free grinding the profiles and blades.I make my knives one at a time , using raw 01 tool steel and I do my own heat treating andtempering of the blades. My knives are working knives , strong , sharp and dependable. Allblades will come razor sharp . ready to work .
