This rare item was purchased at an estate sale. I was told that the gentlemens grandfather was a stock broker back through the 30's 40's & 50's and always had this item as far as he can remember. This is really something that should be sitting in a Museum. This is a large machine that stands over 4 feet high and probably weighs over 100 pounds. The top with the glass can be removed to reveal the gears w the printing took place. And inside the front, when the door is opened t are other mechanical parts, including a motor. I have no idea if this could possibly work again but it looks to be in very nice overall condition. The only problem I see is the latch on the door is missing. This would be a super piece to have sitting in your office, and cannot imagine to many people having this as a display piece. Please ask any questions and I will try my best to answer them, as I am certainly not an expert with this item. This item looks better than the pictures, with no dents or dings. I am starting this with a low opening bid so have fun. This will be professionally packaged and shipped through UPS in two seperate boxes. As the top with the glass and gears will be shipped seperately to avoid any damage. Shipping ,and UPS professional packing is $289.00.I accept Paypal and money orders. GOOD LUCK
