The item you are bidding for is a fine quality set of sterling silver flatware in the Grand Colonial pattern by the Wallace Silver Company. This pattern is in excellent condition and t is very little wear. This is a very elegant and classical pattern. All pieces are hallmarked / stamped on the reverse with the words: Wallace, sterling and Wallace's old company hallmark. This pattern was first made in 1942. We polished up one place setting for the photographs and it cleaned up quite easily. The condition is excellent. T are no dents, no repairs, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no problems of any kind, with the exception of some scratching to the end of one knife handle. The knives and blades are all in excellent condition and t is no separation between the knife handle and the blade. This set comes in a felt lined storage chest. The storage box is in good condition.
