Words can't adequately describe this beautiful item from Wallace. You really have to see it in person - it's absolutely gorgeous! I've read that it originally retailed for over $200. and I can believe that. The Carousel Egg is heavy silverplate, set with genuine Austrain crystals and faux gems. Each of the four horses are set with different colored stones. T are one each of sapphire, emerald, ruby and diamond. These stones are also used on the carousel itself, along with mirrored ceiling, floor and centerpole. The piece is 8 1/2" tall and 4" wide - weighs almost 4 lbs.! It plays The Carousel Waltz as it turns. SUPER SHINY. THIS PIECE IS MINT - although it doesn't have a box. Put it in a gift box with some tissue and it would make a GREAT GIFT!
