This is one of the most luxurious teapots ever made by Wallace. It stands 10.5 inches tall, is 9 inches from handle to spout and is marked on the bottom as holding 2 and 3/4 pints. A nice heavy weight to this pattern, one of the heaviest Wallace made. For my mother's generation Wallace was the best silversmith. The craftsmanship of this pattern is exceptional, with each piece pleasing to the eye from any way you hold it. Holding it is a true pleasure. The pattern includes flatware and hollowware of two different styles all inspired by the architecture of Sir Christopher Wren in London's Saint Paul's cathedral. Of the two hollowware versions of Sir Christopher, this is the more ornate and heavier. If you have a coffee pot or creamer in this same pattern and in this same price range, I have a customer in the market so let me know!!! Thanks for looking at my auction.
